Anonymous said: Songs About Fucking is better that Atomizer tho, especially the A-side. It's so damn good, even though i like both albums very much
I barely listen to that record. I mostly listen to Atomizer and Headache. I’m way more into Shellac. Going to spend some time with “Song About Fucking” today.
Songs about fucking is really good but the sticker wasnt on that album so saying that SAF is better is kinda irrelevant
nerd alert :)

I am not sure I understand the first question, but we work with a number of different companies that help us manufacture the records and cassettes that we have released past, present and future.
No, we don’t own a studio. Unless I am mistaken I don’t believe any independent record label has their own studio. For that matter, major labels don’t have their own studios. Generally, most indie labels have a studio / engineer that they primarily have their artists work with, which I have provided some examples below…
Dischord Records -
Studio: Inner Ear
Engineer: Ian MacKaye
Touch & Go Records -
Studio: Electrical Audio
Engineer: Steve Albini
SST Records -
Run For Cover Records -
Studio: Studio 4 Recording
Engineer: Will Yip
Deathwish Inc. -
Studio: GodCity Studios
Engineer: Kurt Ballou
And to provide an example of a major label band…
Posion The Well’s major label debut ‘You Come Before You’ was recorded in Tonteknik Recording Studios, Umeå, Sweden with Eskil Lövström, Pelle Henricsson whom recorded ‘The Shape of Punk to Come by Refused.
I hope this was informative.
